Hey Hey! Week 3 is heavy on food, nothing fancy, just good eats and a few other random shots:
The week started off with a healthy lunch and making use of leftovers. Purple kale, farro, and tuna tossed with sherry vinaigrette.
Preview of blood orange sugar for an upcoming treat. Hint, hint: a 5:00 treat!
Pizza Port beer and veg pizza. Tasty duo.
This week seems to have been salad week as far as work lunches were concerned. I can’t complain because they are a cinch to pull together and didn’t leave me in a food coma afterward.
Fresh squeezed orange juice with a splash of blood orange for an AM pick-me-up after a long night.
Brunch at Parkhouse: chilaquiles with soyrizo, tofu, and black bean patty + lots of black coffee.
Guess what? I finally got myself a waffle maker after how long? I finally broke down and got one so it was waffles for breakfast while I tested out a yeasted batter recipe and learned how to operate the waffle maker. Dog butt here is an extra.
