I’m a fan of cocktail hour. I look forward to it each and every day. I also like to have something to snack on while enjoying a drink. I got this recipe from David Lebovitz’s book, The Sweet Life in Paris. I love that book. It made me laugh and also made me want to get off my butt and make delicious things. Here’s his own adaptation of the recipe.
I omitted the pretzels because I was far too lazy to go to the store and instead, doubled the amount of nuts. I used whatever I had in the pantry.
Here they are, piping hot from the oven. So tempting to sneak a taste.
A great accompaniment to a glass of wine. These spicy nuts were polished off in less than 2 days. Time to start another batch.
